A second edition of Stormgrounds Invitational is on its way. Now with best-of-three matches and open brackets.
After a phenomenal innaurgural Stormgrounds tournament which saw Team Na'Vi defeat Team Liquid 3-1 in the finals, Stormgrounds returns to Hitbox with its August Invitational.
The much debated best-of-one format has been dropped in favor of the more tradtional, and some would say more fair, best-of-three format. However, the name invitational is a bit decieving, as Stormgrounds is also running an open bracket. If you think your team has what it takes to compete against the best teams Europe has to offer, sign-up can be found here.
The Stormgrounds August Invitational Open Bracket Qualifiers will take place on July 30-31st. Some lucky team will win the opportunity to face off against the likes of Virtus.pro, Gamers2 ,Team Kinguin, Team ROCCAT, Nihilum and Puszek Team in the Stormgrounds playoffs which run from the 3rd to the 5th of August.
